Wellness and Spa Management, Bachelor Studium

Situated in the wellness resort Bad Voeslau, about 30 km south from Vienna, we offer high-school graduates an intensive, profound and practice orientated education in English.

Wellness and Spa are major trends in the tourism industry today, and ITM helps its students to get a jump start in this fascinating and comprehensive field. The program comprises sound education in the fields of management, service and health.
Students gain basic knowledge in natural sciences (e.g. medical fundamentals, anatomy, nutrition etc.) as well as therapies and other practical training seminars (e.g. in cosmetics, massages, dietary needs etc.) in order equip them with the professional tools to directly enter into junior and mid-level management positions in the wellness and spa industry.

Our education is based on cultural, intellectual and moral development of our students in a multicultural environment. Cultural diversity as well as the personal atmosphere are key elements of the ITM educational concept.

Our program is completed with the reception of a Diploma, which is not only valid within Austria but also worldwide.

We at ITM offer our applicants extensive career coaching and consultation so that the right career decision is taken. After the successful completion of the ITM College program, the graduates have the following paths open to them: • Joining the industry and starting their career. • Continuing their studies at European University towards a bachelor's degree in „International Management“ or pursue their studies at other partner universities either in Europe, Australia or in the USA.

The goal of our education is to prepare graduates to take up a position in middle management in the field of wellness and spa tourism, especially in the fields of: • thermal hotels • wellness resorts • spas • recreation centres

The course compromises a combination of theoretical and practical education, and covers the following areas:

• Spa services (natural sciences, thearpies and products) • human resource management • marketing and promotion • facility management • financial management • business operations

Bad Voeslau is an attractive health resort that offers ample leisure time activities. In addition, it is just a stone's trhow away from Vienna and other major cities.
ITM provides on-campus housing for students in the College Garden Hotel***. All rooms are fully furnished and feature a private bathroom. Bed covers, sheets and towels are provided. The single room costs 380,00 € per month, the double room 260,00 € per month/ person. All utilities as well as a weekly laundry service for towels and bed sheets are included in the price. A shared kitchen with all amenities is available.

Admission Procedure for EU citizens:

Application Form (available on our website www.itm-college.eu) and the following documents: • Curriculum vitae/resume (in English) • Copy of birth certificate (certified English or German translation) • Copy of proof of nationality (certified English or German translation) • Letter of Intent (in English)

After having completed all the necessary requirements for application, you will be attending a personal interview (for non-Austrians: telephone-interview). Depending on your performance and motivation, you will/will not be admitted to ITM. The application procedure will be finalized with the payment of an admission fee of € 700,00.

Admission Procedure for NON EU Students

You send the ITM application form together with the following documents by mail to ITM College, Hochstrasse 32c. 2680 Semmering, Austria, Europe: • certified copy of birth certificate • certified copy of the high school diploma • Curriculum Vitae • your personal essay in English language (300 – 500 words) • 2 recent passport photos, copy of your passport. All documents in English or German translation (certified copies). Please note that all documents that are required for the visa application must be handed in German translation to ITM!

Applications are selected by the Admissions Committee on the basis of: • Academic background – certificates or diplomas of educational institutions After having completed all the necessary requirements of the application, you will be attending a personal interview (for non-Austrians: telephone-interview). Depending on your performance and motivation, you will/will not be admitted to ITM. The application procedure will be finalized with the payment of the payment of an admission fee of € 1400,00.

Upon receipt of payment, ITM will issue all required documents for the visa application.
